Installing Flash Version 8

This video is now encoded in On2 Flash8 format, which works with the free Macromedia Flash8 player installed on most computers.

Your computer may have an older version - Flash 6 or 7. In this case, go to www.macromedia.com and click on "Get Free Player." It will automatically detect what kind of browser you are running.

If you are running Internet Explorer with settings to protect against downloads and ActiveX controls, you'll need to click on the top bar to permit the video to play.

If you are running anything else, you will download a small program and install it.

In general, after installing Flash, you may need to go out of your browser and back into it to see the material.
